while it lasted? you mean you don't color comics anymore? oh man, thats too bad. although i've been trying to get into comics lately and find it's almost impossible, but i'll bet it's even harder to stay in once you get there! any tips?

I still do a little comic work here and there. I love comics but I love other kinds of art too.

Getting into comics IS the hardest part.
To STAY in all you have to do is keep your penciler and editor happy.
If you're an inker, this works for you too.

You keep your penciler happy by talking to them about what they want, face to face if possible.
You keep your editor happy by delivering the work on time. No excuses...even if you think they are legitimate.

Whenever it is possible...meet and talk to the people you work with. It makes it much harder for them to forget-you/fuck-you-over if you are a real person with a real face and not just some avatar on the internet.
