Yeah fer sure! Well see how it pans out though, tattoo artists are creative and insane also so it could turn out completely different. He said those flames looked more like lava or something.
I started drawing my design a couple years ago and I stopped by Excalibur here in PDX and asked the guy behind the counter for the coolest flames he remembered in a comic lately. He grabbed this comic "Unholy Union" and as I looked at the front cover with Hulk and Witchblade, Darkness ect, I almost freaked out. It had been a while since I had read any witchblade.
I said to the guy "OMG is this serious, I am not sure if I wanna read it or vomit a little in my mouth" LOL He assured me it was rad and then pointed to the flames and said " I thought thats what you were looking for anyhow?" I informed him of how big of a nerd I was for Sara Pezzini and bought the comic. I never got past the first page but its still around here somewhere.
I love how Photoshop is "Old skool" LMAO... How many colorists today posses a totally different skill-set from those who worked pre-computer aided coloring? And those out there who have adapted the newer technology to their older skills... It's an amazing evolution that I have loved watching. You're amongst the gods, Steve, keep up the awesome work!
Thank you very much Mark. I really appreciate that. Evolution is scary, challenging and a shitload of hard work. The fact that you recognize my evolution and like the results is extremely gratifying to me.
