Love this piece! Though I could guess at the process to merge the 3D work with 2D texturing, the whole thing fuses together so well! Lots of nice details throughout and interesting architecture from building to building.

Thank you! Yes I would abolutely recommend Maya. It is a mind-numbingly powerful art tool. Just be prepared for a LONG learning curve. It is an extemely deep software package and jumping straight in can be intimidating.

Work through the built in tutorials and you'll be good.
